I recently stayed at a great hotel in Cullercoats called Rolo's Retreat. My purpose of travel was to have a relaxing beach getaway, and this hotel delivered. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach. I also loved that they were so dog friendly, as I brought my furry friend along. The hotel was well equipped with everything I needed and the atmosphere was cosy and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

I had a wonderful stay at Rolo's Retreat. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach. It was so refreshing to find a place that is truly dog-friendly. The cottage was well-equipped and cozy, making it feel like a home away from home. Despite the bed being a bit small and too soft for my liking, it was the only downside during my stay. The off-road parking situation could have been clearer, as I parked behind the house but later realized it might have been a private car park. It would have been helpful to have a welcome book with information about heating, parking, and local amenities. I highly recommend this retreat for a pleasant and relaxing getaway.
